The "Takers" is precision bank robbery culminating with slick, slow-motion cinematography of the yet-to-be-caught group of bank robbers with more urban swagger than the Ocean's 11 crew (remake) was a sweet introduction to this heist film.

Laney College is a great place to learn and grow as a student, but when it comes to finding a suitable water fountain, Laney could be lagging behind. "Because the water fountains weren't working, I had to drink from the sink in the assessment test room," said Laney student Alex Halanghu.

The Laney College women's track team won the 2010 State Championship in May, the first track title in the school's history.
It was no surprise to Eagles track coach Curtis Taylor, although Laney had come close to a title in years past.
"I always knew we could win this meet," Taylor said.
